The Sunday Times has announced the top 100 best small companies to work for in the UK, based on organisations with the Best Companies Index (BCI) scores. carwow, a site that makes car buying easy, transparent and haggle-free, has made it to the number 9 spot of the prestigious list.

carwow is ninth on The Sunday Times ‘best small companies to work for’ list, featuring alongside the likes of Ella’s Kitchen, Austen Fraser LTD and Educ8 Group.

To qualify for the competitive ranking – which is widely acknowledged as one of the most extensive studies into employee engagement in the UK-  companies must employ at least 50 full-time members of staff and receive a high Best Companies Index (BCI) score – a unique measure of workplace engagement.

Since its launch in 2013, carwow has grown to employ more than 100 members of staff, and strives to ensure that all employees feel like they can make a difference, every day.  carwow boasts an impressive list of company perks including: weekly yoga classes, in-office massage, a dog friendly office, weekly lunch and learn talks and an annual company ski-trip.

James Hind, co-founder of carwow, said the following:

“To debut at number 9 on the list of the top 100 best small companies to work for is a great achievement for us here at carwow. One of the best things about working at a start-up is that everyone is involved in making the company a success; therefore, employing happy and motivated staff is vital for our growth and progression.”
