Following a hotly contested election campaign, APSCo has announced its new Representative Committee which will take responsibility for shaping the strategy and direction of the trade association until 2020.

Nominations for APSCo’s Representative Committee were open to any member director and all candidates fought hard to canvass votes during the election campaign which ran over the last two months. The committee comprises thirteen recruitment company representatives, one affiliate member and three APSCo permanent committee members.

Commenting on the elections, Ann Swain, Chief Executive of APSCo said:

“APSCo works on behalf of its members and our representative Committee provides invaluable experience, expertise and guidance to help shape the strategy of the organisation moving forward.”

“Once again, we had an exceptionally strong field of candidates, all of whom fought incredibly hard to canvas enough support to be elected to the committee and I’d like to thank everyone who put themselves forward, nominated others and voted. As I’m sure that former and continuing committee members will agree, the role is not only prestigious, but also incredibly active and enjoyable and we are delighted to have such a strong group to guide us through to 2020.”

Yvette Cleland, Clinical Professionals
