Brazilian Services Sector Stemming Unemployment

The creation of 30,000 jobs in Brazil’s services sector has stemmed the rising unemployment rate in the country’s Great ABC region, an industrial region in Greater São Paulo. Most of the new jobs have been created in the banking and insurance, customer care, administration, and health and education sectors.

Although unemployment increased in July 2015, compared with the same month last year, the job creation has helped improve the situation.

An increasing number of companies are also turning to temporary workers, particularly for marketing and advertisement roles.
