Specialist advisors RedRock Consulting recognised in regional Sunday Times listing following last week’s national award
Bristol technology consulting company RedRock Consulting have been named as the second-best business to work for in the South West in this year’s Best Companies awards.
The recognition comes after they ranked 11th in the national list of 100 Best Small Companies to Work For at the awards ceremony on 21 February, further acknowledging the company’s extraordinary levels of employee engagement.
RedRock, who are based in Pembroke House, Clifton, also earned best-in-class status having been the highest-placed Consulting organisation on the South West list. Digital transformation and workforce solutions are just two strings in RedRock’s bow, but the competition in this sector has been particularly fierce.
This is the first year that RedRock have entered the Best Companies awards, which have been running since 2001, and the achievement recognises an employer’s commitment to their staff, clients and local community.
After a poignant visit to Bristol Children’s Hospital ahead of Christmas 2017, RedRock named The Grand Appeal as their Charity of the Year for 2018 and contributed more than £13,000.
Fundraising has so far included a team of 15 members of staff taking part in a Tough Mudder event, as well as sponsorship of The Howl Gromit sculpture in the charity’s Gromit Unleashed 2 trail that ran throughout the city last year.
Dean Harte, Co-Founder and Managing Director at RedRock Consulting, said:
“To be ranked as one of the best places to work in our region is a really special achievement for us.
“We focus heavily on our work in the local community, so to back up last week’s national award with regional recognition is great, and to be best in our sector in the South West is another added achievement.
“Some of our employees have been with us for more than a decade, so we have a real family-feel within the business. We’re excited about our most recent recruits as well, having attracted some truly excellent people over the last few months. We try really hard to create a work environment that employees enjoy spending time in, so I’m pleased to know we are successful in doing that.”
To celebrate their achievement, RedRock are taking all members of staff to Dublin for a weekend at the end of March. They are also celebrating Best Companies Day today with a pub quiz, proceeds from which – in typical RedRock fashion – will go to The Grand Appeal.
