The Clear Company Shortlisted for Disability Confident Award


HR and diversity consultancy, the Clear Company has been shortlisted for the Disability Confident award sponsored by the Department of Transport at the 2017 Employers Network for Equality and Inclusion (enei) Awards.

The ‘Disability Confident’ category recognises employers which are reducing barriers to the workplace for disabled people and supporting the health and wellbeing of their workforces.

The Clear Company’s submission highlighted the success of its platform ClearTalents™ at Work, which gives employees a channel to communicate their individual needs to enable their line managers to make the appropriate adjustments in their working lives to tackle issues such as dyslexia.  When employees create a personal profile using ClearTalents™ at Work, their team leaders are able to access practical suggestions to enable their team members to perform at their best levels.

The Clear Company has worked with firms including CGI, the world’s largest independent information technology and business process services firm, which has 6,000 employees in the UK, and 60,000 across the world, to implement their ClearTalents ™ at Work programme. As a result of this roll-out across their 21 sites, over 50% of the 2000 users registered so far, have been assisted with adjustments.

By doing so, employers are truly able to proclaim that they offer an Employer Value proposition which will resonate more clearly with their current and future workforce. “
