Concept Resourcing Launches New Procurement and Supply Chain Division

Specialist technology and field engineering recruiter, Concept Resourcing, adds another string to its bow of expertise this month with the launch of its brand new procurement and supply chain division.

Headed up by Senior Manager of the already flourishing field engineering division, Jonathan Horrocks, this new venture comes as part of Concept’s mission to provide its clients with business-wide resource.

Supplying direct and indirect procurement personnel in addition to supply chain specialists, Horrocks’ team draws upon their 10 years of experience recruiting into the procurement and supply chain space.

When asked what was unique about his team’s approach, Horrocks had the following to say,

“The procurement and supply chain area of business is very people-focused, so taking the time to understand our clients and their needs is essential for us. We aim to simplify the service with our clients by offering a relationship-led recruitment partnership.”

Concept Resourcing’s Managing Director, Matt Gillen, champions the changes to the business, saying

“The procurement and supply chain division is a welcomed addition to Concept’s arsenal of specialisms and presents a great opportunity for the business to showcase its other capabilities outside of our more well-known divisions.

“Having worked with Jonathan for several years and knowing his expertise in the procurement and supply chain space, I have every confidence that the new division will serve to strengthen Concept’s reputation in the market as being a client first organisation.”

Aside from aiming to grow the team and increase headcount by the end of the year, Horrocks’s plans for the division include becoming more agile as a team and honing in on Concept’s interim procurement and supply chain offering.

He elaborates,

“We’re fast becoming an agile partner that recruits across the spectrum of procurement and supply chain, both on a permanent and interim basis. In fact, we’re also looking to become a specialist interim partner to the space, something we’re very excited about given the platform Concept Resourcing’s longstanding history of working across the contractor landscape has given us.”
