CRA Consulting, based in Sheffield – have released an ambitious recruitment video, produced by Foundry Films, based in Sheffield.

CRA are specialist financial, legal, office, and community recruitment consultants, and produced the video to appeal to professionals considering a career change in the recruitment sector.

The 30 second advert opens with a young, professional female, being shown the picture of a man she must locate. We then follow her pursuit of the male target through the city of Sheffield, featuring locations such as Leopold Square, and Sheffield Hallam University.

It is only at the end of the advert where the professional female is revealed to be a recruiter for CRA.

Robert Addy, Director of CRA Consulting, said, ‘Our ambition was to appeal to those from a legal and professional services background who may have never considered a career in recruitment.

Because we recruit for legal positions, it is imperative that our recruiters have knowledge of the field, and so someone from this background can be a perfect candidate for the job.’

Martyn Standering, Co-Owner of Foundry Films said, ‘We met with Rob to learn more about the characteristics of a CRA recruiter, so that we could understand the audience he wanted to appeal to. Many of these characteristics, such as being target-driven and opportunistic, made us envisage a secret agent, and from here an idea was born.

We depicted the recruiter as an undercover agent to create intrigue for the viewer. We wanted them to ask why the man was being pursued, and what will happen to him when caught. When all is revealed at the end, we wanted the lasting impression to be one of positivity for a career in recruitment.’

The video is to be marketed through online channels such as Facebook and YouTube, and CRA are interested in speaking to:

  • Experienced recruiters who enjoy running their own desk
  • New graduates wishing to build a career in recruitment
  • Those with an accountancy or legal background seeking a change of career direction who wish to apply their knowledge and skills within our field

CRA specialise in recruiting for legal and financial vacancies.
