CV-Library, the UK’s leading independent job board, won big at last night’s National Online Recruitment Awards 2016, being named both ‘Best Generalist Job Board’ and ‘Best Small Employer’. These accolades celebrate the continual growth and success of the business as well as the organisation’s dedication not only to its clients and candidates, but also to its incredible workforce, who help drive the business forward.
The award for ‘Best Generalist Job Board’, which was sponsored by Actonomy, recognises CV-Library as the largest and most popular recruitment site in the UK, as well as highlighting the commitment made by the job board to continuous development. This is the second year running that the business has received this title, beating some of its major competitors, including Reed, Monster and Glassdoor.
The job board was also named ‘Best Small Employer’ an award which recognises employers with up to 500 members of staff, whom often face unique challenges when it comes to recruiting the top talent. The job site, which now employs 170 people, consistently goes above and beyond to ensure it not only provides candidates and clients with the best possible service, but also facilitates exciting and rewarding career paths for its workforce.
Lee Biggins, founder and managing director of CV-Library, comments:
“It’s an absolute honour to be named as the ‘Best Generalist Job Board’ in the UK for the second time. We are continuously investing in the business to make sure that our candidates and clients have a simple, smooth and enjoyable experience, and it’s great to see our hard work is paying off. And, the fact that we received not one, but two awards last night, being named ‘Best Small Employer’ too, is testament to our fantastic workforce, who we are continually investing in to ensure that the business continues to be innovative and that we can offer the best possible service to our candidates and clients. Every single member of staff that we employ contributes significantly to the business, and is helping us on our business journey. We are proud of our growth and achievements thus far, and we’ll continue to work hard to keep the company moving forward.”
