Greg Savage Partners with JobAdder to Address Industry Challenges

Global recruitment leader Greg Savage has joined JobAdder’s Product Advisory Board. The collaboration will see both parties focus on the role technology plays in increasing the connection between recruiter and job seeker.

“It’s not all about efficiency. It’s about the experience,” said Savage adding that it was this aspect that interested him and led to his involvement with JobAdder.

He described the embracing of technology that allowed recruiters to spend more time talking to people as “the most effective disruption to recruitment.

“That’s why I’m so interested in getting this whole area of technology for recruitment right.

JobAdder has shown that it wants to focus on the right things, the candidate and consultant experience and that raised my interest,” he added.

While not a technology expert, Savage said:

“I do have a good grasp of what the issues in recruitment are and that is where my value lies.”

“It’s the nuanced balance between automation, which I embrace in recruitment and the equally important human experience, which is often ignored in the drive for efficiency,”

he added.

“What I like about Greg is his passion for the industry and just how he connected he still is with agency owners and the problems that keep them awake at night,” says JobAdder CEO, Brett Iredale.

“We are huge investors in technology and it really helps to have expert input from as many industry leaders as possible,” he added.

This will be the first such collaboration for both parties, with Savage’s previous partnerships having steered more towards business strategy.
