Growing Newcastle Agency Appoints Lead Consultant

Newcastle-based recruitment firm Hunter Heywood has appointed Brett Mears as Lead Consultant.

In the role, Brett will join co-founders Robbie Hunter and Ashley Heywood in continuing to strengthen the business, build awareness locally and drive expansion into the IT and finance sectors.

“Brett’s years of experience and in-depth knowledge of the Newcastle and Stoke areas will be invaluable in building awareness of our services and delivering refreshingly transparent recruitment services to more local employers and candidates,” said Robbie Hunter, Recruitment Director.

“I spent some time working with Brett a few years ago and his passion for finding not just a candidate, but the right person for each role was plain to see. We are delighted to have successfully attracted Brett to Hunter Heywood and thrilled to add his experience and expertise to our team.”

Mears added:

“The Hunter Heywood team have made a strong start and I’m delighted to be joining them.”

“After one meeting with Robbie and Ashley, I was fully on board with their values, ethos and direction and now look forward to helping them deliver the superior recruitment experience that employers in Staffordshire should expect.”

The addition of Mears as Lead Consultant is Hunter Heywood’s first appointment since launching in January 2019. For more information please visit
