Bristol-based recruitment agency Heat Recruitment has been awarded the Best Company 3* Accreditation for the second year running. The accolade recognises outstanding levels of employee engagement as well as Heat’s strong commitment to creating and fostering an enjoyable and fun work environment for staff.

The Accreditation is awarded annually by Best Companies, whose recognition programme is seen as the gold standard for workplace engagement. Best Company status is based solely on employee feedback and ratings and is highly indicative of a positive work culture.

Heat Recruitment has placed extensive emphasis on employee satisfaction throughout 2019 and is setting sights high for 2020 – implementing a range of initiatives and internal systems that centre around bettering the wellbeing and morale of staff.

As well as offering an on-site fitness centre, month-long sabbaticals for long-term employees and trips abroad for top performers, Heat Recruitment is also starting to trial flexible working options in order to attract an even higher level of talent, with diversity agendas front of focus.

Steve Preston, Managing Director of Heat Recruitment, comments:

“Earning this incredible award for the second year running is a true testament to the hard-working and driven team we have at Heat. As a manager I have always believed in rewarding a job well done and understand that work-life balance is absolutely integral to boosting and maintaining team morale.

“I also can’t stress enough the importance of having fun at work. Our attraction strategy centres around building a positive culture and offering members of staff the training and development as people need to progress their careers and achieve truly good earnings. I’m looking forward to embracing what the new year has in store with my team and working hard to smash next year’s goals that focus on expansion, further incentivisation and strong, positive client relationships.”

Hollie Thomas, HR Manager at Heat Recruitment, adds:

“I’m ecstatic that we have managed to hit this high benchmark twice in a row. The team are so enthused whenever we win an award and we all truly believe in the success of the company, for the simple reason that it is such a great business to work for, offering an abundance of opportunities for staff. In the past year especially, we have really ramped up our training and development offering which has seen 16 promotions in 2019 including seven into management positions.

“Our commitment to offering flexible working initiatives is really exciting for us. We are branching into new styles of working to attract top-quality talent in a competitive market. One element of this will be the increased offering of part-time positions, as we hope to entice candidates that may have less time to commit to a full-time role – such as returning-to-work parents.”
