Heat (Recruitment) Continues to Rise


Bristol-based recruitment agency, Heat Recruitment, are reporting significant internal growth within the first half of 2019. The agency put it down to a significant forecasting strategy teamed with a commitment to continuously bolster their employer brand and incentive offering for their staff.

The agency have taken on 22 new recruits since January – and with four more set to start by September, progress doesn’t seem to be slowing.

In a bid to boost morale even further the company are currently undertaking a soft launch to a new flexible working scheme. This arrangement currently sees the workday being reduced by two and a half hours, without any change to pay. When they get to the final round of trials, this scheme will expand to cover remote working and flexible hours also.

Following their placement in The Sunday Times Best Small Companies List 2019 (37th place), Heat Recruitment have continued to add to the bonuses they have on offer to their staff. They believe their offering adds to their attraction strategy, as they aim to bring in young talent who are prioritising other forms of incentivisation than just a healthy salary.

  • Month-long sabbaticals for every five years of service
  • A free on-site gym
  • Top performer trips to Michelin Star restaurants and abroad

Speaking on the levels of growth, Operations Director, James Ackland said:
