How and why we should be measuring the effectiveness of candidate sourcing

Saying you want good people is not enough; things must change! Every leader knows that the key to building a sustainable and high performing business starts with employing great people.Capital and equipment will not bring about prosperity, only people can!

We know that if recruitment is reliable and effective, then leadership will be more confident and ambitious. If recruitment is unreliable though and the company cannot seem to hire good people, then the repercussions are similar to a slow tightening of the heart; the whole body suffers, not just the blood flow.

So we have to ask 3 questions:

1. Why is it that candidate sourcing is not given the support it needs to be effective?

2. Why is the success of candidate sourcing measured in such basic methods still?

3. Why is the accountability of the process not shared where it ought to be?
