Innovative Startup Rota Hires New Fulfillment & Engagement Manager


Leading digital staffing app, Rota, has announced the appointment of its new Fulfilment and Engagement Manager, Joe Holdsworth. The newly created role is to ensure that the fulfilment of shifts and Member quality is conducive with Rota’s rapid growth, now supplying to over 1000 hospitality Partners with temporary talent in six UK cities.

Holdsworth has been appointed at Rota’s Head Office in London, bringing his wealth of knowledge and experience in hospitality to engage and motivate Rota’s flexible workforce, ensuring their Partners are provided with not only highly skilled talent, but people who also love the work that they do.

In excess of 18 years in the industry, Joe is a hospitality professional who throughout his career has worked at all levels. Appointed as Director of Operations at Aspirational Pub Company, he was part of the senior management team who grew the brand from one to five sites. As a high-level Mixologist, Joe specialised in the training and development of staff, before starting two of his own cocktail bars in Hertfordshire.

“Through my experience I have had a lot of exposure to the modern challenges of staffing within hospitality. Rota operates in London, Manchester, Leeds, Edinburgh, Glasgow and most recently launched in its sixth city, York, reaching multi-million second and third year; with forecast to triple in 2019.


During Nathan’s early career, he gained considerable experience from across many industries including Sales, Teaching and Retail, however more recently Nathan has delved into the world Digital Marketing and Publishing. Drawing on his past experiences, Nathan brings all aspects of his knowledge into Recruitment Buzz, possessing great research and social media skills.

Born and bred in Wales, Nathan is as Welsh as they come – living in the heart of the Valleys, Nathan proudly takes place as our resident Welsh speaker. However, Nathan’s knowledge of global understanding exceeds the Welsh borders, having lived in London, parts of the US and Ecuador.

Nathan is a self-proclaimed geek, having gained a degree in Natural Science via the Open University in Wales. In addition to his passion for science, he has a love for technology, nature, art and of course football!
