Job-Creation Grant for Telecoms Firm TenTel

Independent telecoms company TenTel have revealed plans to create over 40 new jobs in Scotland following a £170,000 Regional Selective Assistance funding award.

The grant will also enable the company to relocate to larger premises outside Edinburgh.

TenTel is a “challenger” telecoms company that offers no-contract broadband and telephone services and is aiming to compete with the sector’s “big four”: BT, Sky, TalkTalk and Virgin.

RSA is a discretionary grant set up by Scottish Enterprise which awards funds to companies that will directly create or safeguard jobs in Scotland.
