JOB TODAY Gets Jamie’s Ex-Employees Back in Jobs


Following news of the Jamie Oliver restaurant closures this week, the UK’s no.1 hiring app, JOB TODAY, is taking fast action to help find the 1,300 workers who are facing redundancy, find new jobs and get in front of new employers in under 24-hours.

The hiring app which helps thousands of Brits find jobs in the hospitality industry, is opening its doors to those affected through a series of drop-in sessions next week to help them secure a job interview within 24-hours and confidently land a new job.

Morning and afternoon sessions will be hosted by JOB TODAY career experts at their London Headquarters between Tuesday 28th May to Friday 31st May for those affected between the hours of 10.00am-12.00pm and 2.00pm-6.00pm.

To help them land a new job as quickly as possible the sessions will offer CV support and interview advice as well as helping them to sign up to the JOB TODAY marketplace to help every candidate secure a job interview within 24 hours.They will be able to connect their skills with the right employer and job opportunity, helping them to get back on the career ladder confidently.

Polina Montano, Co-Founder of JOB TODAY says unfortunately closures on the High Street are becoming increasingly common, noting the additional announcement of the Topshop group store closures following the news from Jamie Oliver:

“Sadly, the closure of large restaurant and retail groups on the High Street is something we are seeing more commonly, in fact today more than a third of the UK’s top 100 restaurants are losing money. After hearing the news this week, it was our duty to step in and help.
