Lydia Perrin Awarded Digital Marketing Apprenticeship with Barratt Homes


Barratt Homes has proven its commitment to apprenticeships with the appointment of a new marketing apprentice in Southampton.

Lydia Perrin, who lives in Hedge End close to the housebuilder’s regional office, will embark on a digital marketing apprenticeship, and is excited to develop her new skills under the guidance of the five-star housebuilder’s experienced professionals over the coming months and years.

“I’m thrilled that Barratt Homes has confidence in me to succeed in this challenging but incredibly rewarding programme,” she said. “The construction industry is a dynamic and exciting environment – and I can’t wait to start communicating our news and progress online to our customers and stakeholders.”

Barratt Homes marketing manager, Daniel Bateman, added:

“We were very impressed by Lydia during the application process, and are delighted to be welcoming her to our team here in Southampton.

“Whenever possible, we look to recruit from within the local community – so it is great that Lydia lives close to our offices in Hedge End. She has already shown us what she is capable of, and we are keen to help her develop her career further.
