Recruitment Football Tournament Announced

APSCo’s highly anticipated Recruitment Challenge Cup will be returning for its fourth successive year on Sunday 12th of June. The event, which will see over 60 football teams from across the recruitment profession go head to head, will also include a netball tournament for the first time this year. Both are open to mixed-gender teams.

The Recruitment Challenge Cup brings together recruitment professionals from across all sectors for a fun-filled day of entertainment and sporting events. The event is expected to once again draw in large crowds of recruiters and their families with live music, food and drink, face painting and a bouncy castle which will all run alongside the day’s main event.

All proceeds from the day will be donated to The Silver Line – the only free confidential helpline providing information, friendship and advice to older people.

Commenting on the event, Ann Swain, chief executive of APSCo said;

“After three successful years of the Recruitment Cup, we are delighted to once again be hosting what is now firmly established as the premier sporting event in the recruitment calendar. In 2015 we saw over 50 teams of notoriously competitive recruiters battle it out on the pitch in an effort to take home one of the six trophies with Ruben Sinclair crowned the worthy winners. I’d like to thank Paul Gilley and the team from CC Festivals as without their support this event would not be possible. I have no doubt that this year’s festival, which will see an incredible 60 teams compete to be crowed champions, will be the most exciting yet.”
