Steve Waggott, CEO of Blackburn Rovers was the VIP Guest at the office opening ceremony of Ribble Valley based executive recruitment firm, Walmsley Wilkinson Associates.

This search and selection business was launched in 2018 by two partners who have many years’ experience in talent attraction; gained in both inhouse recruitment teams in large corporations as well as external recruitment consultancy.

They have recently moved into their new purpose-built offices and were delighted when Steve Waggott agreed to “cut the ribbon” at their opening celebrations.

Taryn Wilkinson, a Director of the business stated

“We have been highly impressed by the work that Steve and his team have been undertaking for Blackburn Rovers FC. The Club has developed strong links with the supporters, the community and local businesses and we are so pleased that he was also able to help support our growing business by attending today”

The new office has views of iconic Pendle Hill and the guests at the event which included suppliers such as Accountants, Architects, Financial Advisors, Marketing & Design Agencies were able to enjoy the views whilst undertaking business networking.

“We are proud to be based in Lancashire, partnering local businesses”, said Linda Walmsley, Co-Founder of Walmsley Wilkinson, “and we are also fortunate enough to be working with clients across the UK and internationally. A big thank you to Steve Waggott and BRFC for their commitment to their neighbouring business community. We look forward to continued success for both them and us.”
