Following a period of significant growth and success, global energy and rail recruitment specialist, Samuel Knight International, has been shortlisted in the ‘One to Watch’ category at the 2019 European Business Awards.
The ceremony, which is now in its 12th year, is one of the world’s largest and longest running cross-border and cross-sector awards. It engages with over 110,000 companies from 33 countries and brings like-minded organisations together, giving leaders from different industries a unique opportunity to do business, learn, share and solve major challenges.
Commenting on the nomination, Steve Rawlingson, Group CEO at Samuel Knight said:
“I’m very humbled that Samuel Knight International has been shortlisted for such a renowned award and recognised for its hard work over the last 12 months. None of this would be possible without our incredible team and their dedication. There are so many fantastic companies that have also been nominated, and it’s an honour to be among them. I’m looking forward to meeting other businesses, hearing their stories and exchanging knowledge with one another.”
Adrian Tripp, CEO of the European Business Awards, said:
“The companies chosen as ‘Ones to Watch’ are the most inspirational, successful and dynamic in Europe. The talent and tenacity at the heart of these businesses creates jobs and drives Europe’s prosperity. This ‘Ones to Watch’ list of excellence is a benchmark of success for the rest of the European business community.”
“Companies on the list come from all sectors; from manufacturing to retail, agriculture to technology, and all sizes; from start-ups to billion euro businesses. Samuel Knight will now have the chance to compete in one of the 18 categories of this year’s European Business Awards to become a National Winner in their country. If successful, they will then take part in the Gala Final in December 2019, where the final 18 European winners will be announced.
