Specialist Tech Recruitment Still Growing


Redline Group, the permanent and contract Technology recruitment specialists, report significant growth in the last nine months of 2015

Key points from Redline Group’s 9-month results:

  • 23% rise in Permanent Revenue
  • 22% rise in Contract Revenue
  • 22% increase in headcount
  • Increased offer-to-acceptance ratio across permanent and contract disciplines
  • 14% increase in customer base

Redline Group reported an acceleration in the growth of permanent & contract placements in the last nine months of 2015, with a 20%+increase in revenue compared to the previous financial year 2014-15.

This growth has been coupled with an increase in the offer-to-acceptance ratio, in the face of a continued industry-wide decline in the availability of specialist, highly-skilled candidates within the technology and engineering sectors.

Redline’s 30 years of experience in the sector and the unparalleled network of contacts, positioned it ideally to benefit from the knowledge-led approach required by customers in this niche, scarce-skills sector. During 2015 the REC/KPMG Report on Jobs has commonly cited Engineering, Executive and IT/Computing as the top three sought-after areas for permanent and contract candidates.

Despite very recent economic fluctuations, customers’ confidence has remained high within the European technology sector. Redline’s investment in new staff and the strategy of ‘embedding’ more with customers has demonstrably improved the volume and efficiency of hiring for Contract and Permanent disciplines across Executive, Engineering, Sales & Marketing and Operations & Manufacturing roles for its clients.

2016 has already started very strongly with an increase in demand across both new vacancy registrations and client interviews, and a rise in the number of offers being made for both permanent and contract roles alike.
