The State of Social Recruitment in 2013


With the rise of recruiting on Social Media websites, you would be surprised to find that 94% of companies use or plan to use social media to recruit their next employees in 2013.
With a 33% improvement on time when hiring, and an increase of 49% in candidate quality, it’s safe to say that recruiting socially is the way forward.

47% of companies who use Twitter have raked up a great brand for themselves, by interacting with their followers which in turn makes people want to work for them. LinkedIn comes out top in the survey, with 94% of recruiters using the professional site to vet candidates and 42% have also reconsidered a candidate based upon the content on their profile – both positively and negatively!
