Trade Delegation Finds Growth Opportunities in USA and Canada


The APSCo trade delegation in November 2019 to both New York and Toronto has been hailed as a resounding success by attendees. The event, which was kindly sponsored by Saffery Champness and Squire Patton Boggs, provided valuable information for recruitment leaders who were seeking insight on the opportunities for expanding their global footprint into North America.

The packed itinerary included trends and forecasts for what are two of the most lucrative staffing markets in the world. As well as information and advice on setting up in North America, the delegates gained privileged access to key contacts who provided insight into crucial tax and legal issues; comparisons between the UK, US and Canada in relation to contracting and MSPs; and, of course, the impact of the Trump administration on the professional staffing sector.

There were also real-life case studies from those who have ‘been there and done it’, as well as panel discussions with US and Canadian based firms including Finlay James, ProClinical, Salt, Boundary Talent and Frank Recruitment Group in New York and Ian Martin, Eagle Online and Compustaff in Toronto.

Feedback was extremely positive.
