Former Oakleaf managing consultants Jane Middleton and Harriet Lavender have launched Trapeze HR, a new recruitment firm dedicated to placing HR professionals in flexible working roles.
The launch comes in response to escalating demand from candidates for more agile and flexible working opportunities as well as from employers who are embracing new ways of working to retain and motivate staff who need to balance work with family and other commitments.
Trapeze HR is catering to a growing body of evidence, which suggests that employers who invest time and effort to encourage flexible working boost productivity. It is also consistent with the aims of the Government’s Flexible Working Task Force, set up in March 2018, which is looking to remove the obstacles to greater flexible working. Trapeze HR combines Jane and Harriet’s more than 40 years’ experience in generalist HR and recruiting roles. For the last ten years, Jane and Harriet have worked flexibly themselves.
