UK’s Leading Job Site Opens First Office in Manchester

The UK’s fastest growing job site, CV-Library, has today announced the opening of its new regional office in Manchester, to support its continued expansion. The new office, which opened on the 6th of June, places the CV-Library brand in the centre of another major UK city.

The office, which is located in Manchester’s Media City, will allow the business to optimise both brand and customer relations in the North of England. The office will be headed up by Jac Corbett, who, with over 10 years of experience in the business, has been tasked with growing a team that will increase brand exposure across the region and help employers to recruit the best talent.

Corbett comments:

“I’m really looking forward to being a part of the CV-Library team, especially at such an exciting time for the company. The potential here is enormous, and with increased responsibility in the North, I can begin forging relationships with new and existing customers across the region. Having worked in the area for some time, I now have the opportunity to support the local economy, and to help connect businesses with the most talented candidates. I can’t wait to take on this new challenge.”

Created in 2000, the site has grown rapidly and now boasts over 145,000 jobs from over 10, 500 clients, as well as an impressive candidate database of over 10.1 million CVs. The expansion comes just one month after the business opened its second regional office in Birmingham. With plans to continue its rapid expansion, CV-Library hopes to gain exposure in major cities across the UK, whilst connecting local talent with the right career opportunities.

Lee Biggins, founder and managing director of CV-Library comments:

“2016 is proving to be a strong year for us, and this new regional office is the third of many to come over the next few years. This year we’re pushing the CV-Library brand further than ever before, so we can ensure our clients continue to recruit the best talent. The new Manchester office goes some way to helping us to reach our ambitious growth targets, in addition to helping us better serve our clients in the North of England.”

Biggins concludes: “This expansion into Manchester presents a huge opportunity for growth, as local businesses continue to up-skill and expand their current operations. The economy is gathering pace so our regional footprint is more important now than ever before.”

With more focus expected to be placed on growing accounts across the country, CV-Library looks positioned to continue its success throughout 2016. Learn more about CV-Library at:
