Last Thursday Venturi were honoured to be shortlisted and attend “The Recruiter’s Investing in Talent” awards ceremony at “The Brewery”, one of central London’s leading event venues. It’s electric atmosphere meant it was the perfect place to host these modern and dynamic awards.
The awards hosted by Recruiter editor DeeDee Doke kicked off with a drinks reception, followed by an exquisite three-course lunch. Guest speaker Greg Orme (a Specialist in Transformational Leadership Development & Organisational change) then delivered one of the most inspirational speeches to date.
The Recruiter says of the awards “Talent is like gold dust – there’s never enough of it. And like great wealth, great talent requires investment – in learning & development and an attractive pay & benefits strategy. But it takes an insightful, strategically clever recruitment business to recognise the value of investing in its current and future talent.”
Although Venturi were not winners on the day they were still delighted and honoured to be at one of the most prestigious events in the recruitment calendar.
Shortlisted in the “Most Effective Professional Development for Newcomers” category, this was the 2nd training and development related nomination that Venturi have received this year having been shortlisted and subsequently achieving 3rd place at the “Global Recruiter Awards 2015” and being included in the Recruitment International’s Top 500 recruitment agencies.
Venturi’s Head of Talent said of the event;
“We have a passion for people and investing in current and future talent so for this to be recognised by our peers is amazing. We develop all our newcomers from day one and continue investing in them even when they become part of the leadership team. We had a great day at the “Investing in Talent Awards”. The ceremony was entertaining, the food was amazing and the guest speaker was phenomenal. Congratulations to all the winners and we look forward to seeing you again there next year”
Venturi are also on track to form part of “The Recruiter’s Hot 100” which will be announced later on in the year.
