Leading recruitment consultancy Woodrow Mercer has been awarded a place on the Crown Commercial Service (CCS) RM6160 framework, meaning it can now source temporary and fixed-term staff for the NHS and rest of the public sector.
The firm’s new accolade reflects the extensive resource Woodrow Mercer has put into providing the public sector – most notably the NHS – with staff over the past few years.
In August 2018, the agency reignited its once market-leading healthcare division with the target of regaining its CCS RM6160 status (formerly known as NMNC RM971). Since then, the Birmingham-based firm has delivered its goal inside just 12 months.
Woodrow Mercer, founded in 2012 with the vision of developing an ethical staffing company, will now be able to supply non-clinical, temporary or fixed-term staff to the NHS and wider public sector.
Liam Molesworth, associate director of Woodrow Mercer’s healthcare division, said:
“Our team has taken great strides to achieve this accolade – it’s an exciting time for the business.
“Being an accredited supplier to the CCS means that our clients can feel confident in the knowledge that Woodrow Mercer source responsibly, adhering to the specific requirements and extensive vetting of the RM6160 framework.”
Dan Ostrowski, managing director at Woodrow Mercer, added:
“As a business, we have always been passionate about working with the NHS, so we try to give back to our clients and the health service wherever possible. With a CCS certification, our healthcare team is once again market-leading and ready to partner with a multitude of organisations.”
